Sunday June 23, 2024, on a challenging cold and rainy morning with temperatures from 60 – 62 degrees, 320 registered runners took off running the inaugural The Great Bangor Marathon & Half at 7 am sharp. Thank you Honorable Ben Sprague for welcoming our running to the Beautiful City of Bangor Maine. The City of Bangor would like to thank the runners, and their family and friends, who participated and supported our event. Runners came from 33 different states and 4 countries.
