The Great Bangor Marathon & Half

We are excited to offer a new event to the Greater Bangor Region, THE GREAT BANGOR MARATHON & HALF, Sunday June 23, 2024 starting at 7 am at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor, Maine. There will be a full marathon through Bangor out valley avenue to Broadway with a turn around in the town of Kenduskeag and back to the end at the Paul Bunyan statue on Main St in front of the Cross Insurance Center. The half marathon following the same course with a turn around on outer broadway shortly after Pushaw Road. There is plenty of nearby parking, affordable lodging and dining to make this a destination for the whole family. Come to this challenging inaugural event “THE GREAT BANGOR MARARTHON & HALF”!
